Non-Invasive Cardiology
The Non-Invasive Cardiology department is comprised of the Heart Station, Echo Lab, and Nuclear Cardiology. From neonatal to geriatrics, we serve patients with any cardiopulmonary indication. Our nurses are an integral part of a team that includes echocardiographers, cardiac technicians, and other clinical nurses, depending on which exam a patient needs.
As a nurse on our unit, you'll provide services that include:
- Cardioversion
- Transthoracic echo
- Dobutamine stress echo
- Exercise stress echo
- ECG treadmill stress test
- Intracardiac echo
- VO2 testing
- Adenosine nuclear stress
- Dobutamine sestamibi nuclear stress test
- Transesophageal echo
- Ambulatory blood pressure monitor
- 12-Lead ECG
- Event and holter monitoring
- Signal average
