Program Description: The objective of this 1-day Western Regional Thrombosis Symposium physician, nurse, and pharmacist academic and scientific program, is to optimize patient care. To this end, this conference is designed to foster career development and encourage scientific discovery and medical education with regard to thrombosis diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, in both clinical and research practices, and health professional and public education and outreach. Content for this program is especially catered to the needs of multidisciplinary health professionals from throughout the Western Regional United States.

Program Description: The Thrombosis Service Quarterly Conference Series seeks to provide state-of-the-art health professional continuing medical education, by highlighting evidence-based practice standards and timely research review with regard to thrombosis diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. All live meetings will be presented in a multidisciplinary format and will be recorded for online CME presentation post program. A supplemental 4-part newsletter/print publication will be generated for broad distribution. One lecture section of each program will be reserved for a “hot topic” lecture that will not be assigned until 1-month prior to the meeting to ensure timely content.
