Sustance Abuse Services

Inpatient Treatment Programs

This level of service operates with the belief that management of patients in a mental health crisis is complex, requiring an intensive, multidisciplinary approach. In a safe and protected environment, the patient's medical, psychological, biological, and social needs are assessed, and appropriate interventions implemented immediately. Based on a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, a team of experienced professionals develop and individual treatment plan centering on stabilization, brief-focused treatment, and triage to an appropriate, less restrictive level of care.

Chemical Dependency Stabilization Programs

As a component of our inpatient program, this detoxification service assists in the withdrawal phase of chemical dependency. Following stabilization and detoxification, the patient is triaged to a less restrictive level of care.

Intensive Outpatient Programs

This option of care - the least restrictive of our therapeutic programs - provides intensive treatment while allowing the individual to remain integrated with their academic, work, and home environments. Our Intensive Outpatient Services are offered in structured programs for three hours per day, ranging from two to five days per week. Three different structured programs are offered: Recovery Works IOP, Recovery Works Young Adult (ages 18-24) IOP and Staying Off Substances (SOS) (ages 12-18) IOP.

Aftercare Services

Viewed as an integral aspect of the total treatment process, these services provide the discharged patient and family with significant support systems.
