TBI Grand Rounds

Mild Brain Injury: Executive Function and Increased Level of Cognitive Function. Also, an overview of terminology and definitions related to mild Tbi.

Dr. Colby Hansen, MD, Associate Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, will present "Mild Brain Injury:  Executive Function and Increased Level of Cognitive Function".  Also presenting is Leanne Seckinger, OTR/L, Jennifer Havens MS, CCC-SLP, and Lisa Schweitzer MS, CCC-SLP.  The team will present an overview of terminology and definitions related to mild TBI; issues and management principles of concussion; the impact of vestibular and vision issues with MTBI; the impact of MTBI to those returning to work and school.  Healthcare professionals who work with TBI or those interested in learning more about MTBI are invited to attend.  

This course is approved for 2 UPTA CEU's. This course meets the requirement for 2 NBCOT PDUs.

The course is free to University of Utah employees and University of Utah fulltime students. There is a $10 fee for all others that wish to attend. If paying by check, please make checks payable to University of Utah Education Fund. Payment will be taken the night of the event.
