Cardiovascular Center
Echocardiography
Specialists within our Cardiovascular Center use echocardiography to identify a weak or inefficient heart muscle, old heart attacks, valve disease, and congenital heart defects (defects of the heart at birth). These ultrasounds are non-invasive, and are performed by our team of highly skilled, nationally registered technologists.
We also offer echocardiography within our Mobile Cardiology Service, allowing physicians and their patients to benefit from the same high standard of cardiovascular imaging and noninvasive cardiology testing received at the University of Utah Hospital, without ever leaving their community. Our service travels to locations throughout Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Nevada.
