nuMoM2b: Nulliparous Pregnancy Outcomes Study - Monitoring Mothers-to-be
Description
Status: Open to Enrollment
Start Date: Feb 01 2011
End Date: Feb 01 2012
The NuMoM2b study is looking for mothers who have never delivered a baby before. For these women, doctors do not have information from a previous birth to know who might have a problem with their pregnancy. This study is looking for tests that can identify which ones might have a problem; then, in the future, health care providers will be better prepared to help them and their babies to be healthy. The study involves: three visits to collect blood, urine, and vaginal fluid samples; complete interviews/questionnaires; and ultrasounds.
