Huntsman Cancer Institute Skin Cancer Screening Clinic
On May 30th, we held our 10th Annual Free Skin Cancer Screening at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. This year we saw our largest volume of patients ever, 521 patients, and still completed the event right on time.
Thank you to everyone who helped with this screening. Eighteen of the care providers were from the Department of Dermatology including: John Zone, Sancy Leachman, Doug Grossman, C. David Hansen, Allison Jensen, Mark Eliason, Jackie Panko, Marta Petersen, Lana Pho, Kristina Callis Duffin, Richard Sontheimer, Douglas Powell, Betsy Perry, Gerald Krueger, Payam Tristani, Lynn Birrell, Mary Menlove, and Steven Wolf.
Other community providers included: Ralph Bradley, Joseph Jensen, Leonard Swinyer, Julie Maughan, Rebecca Goldsmith, Gaylen Jones, Warren Eyre, and Marc Sanders.
This year we had pre-med and medical students assist with the visits which provided an atmosphere of professionalism and efficiency.
