Melanoma and Cutaneous Oncology
The Melanoma Cutaneous Oncology Program (MCOP) at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) is full-spectrum, and includes clinical services, clinical trials, human research studies, and basic science research programs. All areas of cutaneous cancer conditions are treated with an emphasis on Melanoma Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma. A unique area of expertise at HCI is melanoma genetics; the genetic cause of melanoma is studied and our scientific understanding is used to better inform patients of risk.
