SLCC/U of U Partnership ADN-RN Program
University Health Care in conjunction with Salt Lake Community College and the University College of Nursing are now sponsoring a partnership in SLCC's nursing program. This program augments the existing partnership between the Hospital and the College Of Nursing to prepare more RNs to fill our growing nursing needs. To date, we have 3 Cohorts of 30 students participating in this program; the last cohort began Summer 2009.
To be considered for the program, you must be a University Health Care employee in good standing with your department, and willing to contract with University Health Care to work full time for 3 years (4680 hours) following graduation. Applicants will be selected based on academic history, employee performance, and tenure with the institution.
At this time, we have not determined which semester we will start our next Cohort, but it will be in 2010. We will list the dates for application submission when we have the start date determined. Please refer to the attached documents for more information.
