Outpatient Orders
Easyscript Communication Type
When working with outpatient medications is important to select the appropriate communication type. The communication type will determine if an order is sent to the physician inbox for signature. For information on selecting the appropriate communication type please refer to the online documentation.
Orders to Approve
Orders requiring provider signature will populate into the 'Orders to Approve' section of the Inbox. For information on adding the "Orders to Approve" icon to the Inbox and setting the "Default search date range" please refer to the online documentation.
Search for Unsigned Orders by Visit Number
Unsigned orders can be quickly found in PowerChart by searching for the visit number. Orders can then be cosigned within the patient’s chart. For further information please refer to the online documentation by clicking "Search for Unsigend Orders by Visit No."
