Head and neck surgical oncology is the subspecialty of otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) that provides medical and surgical treatment for benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck. Our physicians lead a multidisciplinary team of head and neck cancer specialists that provide a comprehensive and individualized treatment approach.
Our experienced physician team includes surgeons, radiation, and medical oncologists, endocrinologists, pathologists, and radiologists at the Huntsman Cancer Institute that have special expertise in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of patients with head and neck cancers. In addition, patients benefit from our team of rehabilitation specialists, including swallowing and voice therapists, cancer nutritionists, social workers, and nurses that have experience helping patients maximize their health both during and after cancer treatment.
