Dr Allred was extremely courteous and kept me informed about what procedures would be used. Her staff set them up and made my visit seemless and hassle free.

I feel like I am not getting to the bottom of my problwm. The provider doesn't seem to want to get reason for the pain. Just treating it. She has given me different medicine that hasn't worked yet. But the next appiontment she scheduled was 6 months away. When I expressed my concern, she said just call. The last time I called it took 7 days to get a response from her nurse sho said the provider would be unavailable for 4 more days. Then it took another day after that. Now I was impressed she called herself and left a message to change medicine. But nothing to help the pain in a short term or even break through pain. Just a med that could take up to 3 months to take effect. This was very disappionting.

I really like Dr. Allred. She explains everything and answers my questions and concerns. Then give me a print out of what we discussed. I appreciate that very much.

Dr. Allred was very personable, I felt comfortable with her. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing to see a neurologist.

January 14, 2013

Dr. Allred was refreshingly kind, attentive, a good listener, a good teacher (she had a student in the room which was a fun experience), and very thorough. As a woman I was happy to be seen by a woman and while I was initially nervous, her kind manner put me right at ease.

Dr. Allred is one of the best Doctors I have ever had. She does a great job at taking care of me, and making sure that I am able to have the best care possible. She is easy to talk to and easy to get a long with. She seems to really take time to care for me and for my needs.

December 10, 2012

I liked Dr. Allred and felt comfortable with her. She was very professional and encouraging. I would have liked her to see my MRI because that was one of my main items of concern. I feel discouraged that the University was not able to access my MRI online or on the disk.

December 10, 2012

Wonderful caring provider, listened carefully and made sure all my questions and concerns where answered. Very thorough in asking questions and trying to understand.

November 06, 2012

Dr Allred was great. She was a little late coming in to talk with me and apoligized for it. She was thorough and knew what she was talking about

October 22, 2012

We have been through alot with my Dad in the recent years and so have seen alot of medical people for various concerns, but Dr. Allred has been by far the most helpful and most caring provide that we have seen. She has even phoned my parents on the weekend to follow up with them as they live outside the Salt Lake Valley. I would definitely recommend her and her staff!

October 15, 2012

I have never experienced any problems with providers at the U that most people complain about. Doctors regularly take all the time necessary in order to help with prevention, diagnosis, or treatment. This visit was no different. The doctor seemed knowledgeable, caring, and efficient.

September 15, 2012

I didn't feel like I was given a chance to explain myself as it was skipped over rather quickly.

August 13, 2012

I was so impressed with Dr. Allred. She listened to me. She discussed options with me. After I had my MRI she called me that afternoon with results. I really fealt like she cared about me and my medical issues.

April 03, 2012

Dr. Allred has provided me with excellent health care. She listens to me with genuine concern and always promptly returns my phone call and emails. I feel that I am continually improving and am glad to have her as my Neurologist.

March 30, 2012

This was a much different trip to the headache clinic than my first trip. Dr Allred was much more focused on me, what I was trying to say, my requests. My twin sister went to the appointment with me. Cara helped me ensure I asked the right questions and received the appropriate responses.

March 16, 2012

With my head injury sometimes its hard to explain how things are but she was able to understand my needs and help me understand what I need to do to make the headaches and pain to the head less painfull

March 15, 2012

She told me she was basically giving up on my problem and I did not need to see her anymore. I'm not sure I really understand why! I believe she just basically tired of the paperwork. Treated like we were stupid, very inexcusable , and we will not be back! !!!

March 09, 2012

I just wish she would've read the first couple pages of medical history/problems at least before entering the room.

February 10, 2012

I was hoping to see a headache specialist, but the general neurologist I saw seemed very competent and knowledgeable regarding headaches.

February 03, 2012

Talked to med student more than me. she might be waiting for all results to really talk to me.

January 27, 2012

I really appreciated that Julianne Allred spent a lot of time during the exam and discussing my concerns. I didn't feel like she was trying to rush through my appointment so she could get to her next patient.

January 19, 2012

I was disappointed when Dr. Allred tried to explain my migraines with "I tolerance for headaches is lower than most other people". I have a very high tolerance for pain - as evidenced by many doctors and many surgeries. 3x kidney transplant recipient. I wish we could have reviewed some other ideas. 1. My migraines only began after my first transplant. No headaches to speak of before then. 2. My seizures only started (but did not end) on dialysis.
