Bio

Dr. Gibbs completed medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1983. She completed Family Practice Residency at The University of Utah 1983-1986 and practiced as a family doctor in Park City, Utah from 1996 to 1993. She was also part of a group practice in a county without a medical hospital. Dr. Gibbs was the EMS director for the ambulance/EMTs in Park City and active in getting parmedics designated by the state of Utah for Park City. She completed Psychiatry Residency at the University of Utah 1993-1996. Currently she is an attending psychiatrist at UNI specializing in HIV psychiatry and Inpatient /outpatient psychiatrist for UNI and clinic 1A (HIV/AIDS clinic at UUMC). Dr. Gibbs collaborated with Kenyan psychiatrists in Eldoret, Kenya to establish a HIV/AIDS psychiatric clinic 2007.
