Dr. Summers is always great. I had to have a less than desirable test done this visit and he was very kind during the entire process. Everyone in the Madsen Women's Clinic is kind and compassionate. I have never had a bad experience there and I have been seen countless times.

I've been battling severe pneumonia during the last few weeks of my pregnancy. Thanks to Dr. Summers, I was able to avoid preterm labor and/or any complications. He followed up, called me to inquire as to my progress, and saw me several more times to monitor my recovery. With pneumonia, this proves extremely important. It's obvious that Dr. Summers is an excellent physician, and it's obvious that he truly cares for his patients' welfare. I appreciate his concern and professionalism.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Summers. I have been seeing various doctors for two years for chronic pain, and I have never found a doctor so knowledgeable and helpful as Dr. Summers. He actually had a scientific basis for the treatment we decided on, rather than the clinical "this seems to work for some people" approach I've had with other doctors. He took time to answer my questions and help me understand. I would recommend Dr. Summers to any woman with chronic vulvar pain. Just make sure to keep asking questions until you understand!

Dr Summers and his staff are a wonderful group. The wait time and scheduling is sometimes a bit of frustration, but overall, very good.

I had an incredible visit with Dr. Summers. initially my appointment was set for April 24, but itook a positive pregnancy test, called the office, and was in same day! (Monday morning April 15) Everyone from the office staff to the PA Dr Summers had with him to the care provider were wonderful!

Dr. Summers is very kind, and always answers my questions completely. He always asks "do you have any other questions or concerns" toward the end of the office visit and seems genuinely interested in my care and how I am doing.

I was impressed with Dr. Summers' knowledge of my problem. He shared what was wrong and even showed me a slide to illustrate his point, which I have never had a doctor do before. I appreciated that he educated me on what was going on with my body and what I could do to heal.

As always, I'm so glad that I chose Dr. Summers to guide me through my pregnancy. He's always willing to answer any questions that my husband and I have. He inspires confidence, and it really eases my mind about the birthing process.

I would recommend the Doctor because he is an excellent provider. But 75% of my visits have had a prolonged wait time that was not accounted for.

Dr. Summers and his Intern PA were fantastic.

I live in Riverton and drive all the way to the Madsen's Women Center to see Dr. Summers. There are many doctors closer to where I live but I feel it it well worth the long, out of the way drive to be his patient. He is excellent in his field and understands my body more than any other doctor I have ever been to! I have contact dermatitis and he understands what is good for it and even more, what is BAD for it.

My experience was quite good. I received very personal attention from all including the doctor and nurses.

As previously stated, I waited to see the Dr for 2 hours and 15 mins, and he never talked to me about the problem I came in for. I have to pay for this visit all on my own, and drive an hour to get here. I am very dissatisfied by my care. I have paid a great deal of money, to know less than when I started about a very real problem. As the supposed expert in this disorder, I had hoped for much better care, and more answers. I will not be going back. It was frustrating, and a complete waste of my time, and money. His nurses spoke of how much of a genius the dr was in this area, and how people from all over the country are coming to see him, and I have to admit, I don't know why. The only explanation I got was to slap some cream on it, which I have been doing for the past 5 years with no positive result. My problem, concerns, and health are not better answered, or relieved since coming in.

Dr. Summers spent a great deal of time helping to understand my condition. He was able to provide a sound diagnosis in a gentle manner. I left the appointment feeling very optimistic and encouraged.

Dr. Summers was very friendly. Asked me specific questions on my comfort after my surgery/procedure. He even complimented me on my choice of clothing.

The Dr was great but because he is so busy and the wait time is so backed up I would think twice about referring someone to him.

I felt like my time wasn't important and that Dr. summers didn't really think my visit was worth his time because he just rushed through it and didn't even take the time to go over multiple options for birth control with me. I was really displeased with this visit.

Provider took the time to care for me and talk to me about my concerns. I had an excellent experience.

We switched from a physician at IMC to Dr. Summers. The difference is astounding. Dr. Summers really cares about people. We recommend him to everyone we know.

I was treated with respect, urgency, and was provided the information and medication needed to treat my illness.

The doctor checked my situation and told me everything was fine. I didn't have any problems with him answeering my question. He was very clear in his language use.

Provider was very unorganized and tried to talk me out of my procedure. I got the feeling he just didn't want to deal with it. I understand that OB/Gyns get behind quite often but to be treated as though my appointment was not as important as someone elses I feel is unexcusable and will not continue with this provider.

Dr. Summers is the only ob gyn that I want to ever go to- please don't let him ever retire!!! Lol

Dr. Sommers was wonderful as was his PA.

I like Dr. Summers and trust him. He is clearly a very knowledgable doctor -- but something is missing on the "emotional" side of working with him. Most of my visits with him are a few minutes at most - he is great at explaining what he thinks I should think/do (flu shot vs. no flu shot, etc), but when it comes to conversation about baby, how I'm feeling (worried I'm not showing enough? Have I gained enough weight?), wellness and other concerns, these things go undiscussed. It's a lot of waiting around to pee in a cup and leave (frankly I feel like that's the only reason I go there for my appointments)

I felt the physician was more interested in getting done with my appointment than with giving me information about my health status; he only answered the 2 questions I had and then examined me for 2 minutes and then left. It was terrible... he also had a PA student that didn't introduced to me, she was just standing in the room. It was very ackward

Good experience all around

i love dr summers. he is a genius and such a compassionate person. he truly cares about his patients and he makes me feel well cared for and i know i am in good hands. it was right before the holiday weekend and he told me how to find him if my antibiotics were not working. this is a true caregiver.

I felt like because the care providers were extremely tired after surgery, their bed side manners weren't the best but it was understandable.

Dr. Summers is amazing and able to clear up an infection it took other docs months. He is top notch!

Dr. Summers was outstanding--both very kind and skilled. I am from Utah but have lived out of the country for the last 6 years so wasn't sure what sort of treatment to expect. The last clinics I've used in the US were never friendly. I was particularly impressed that Dr. Summers had taken time to find out about my payment since my insurance didn't cover the visit and then did everything in his power to sort out a problem I'd had regarding it.

I liked Dr. Summers the best, although everyone in the practice was really above par, more so than I expected. Dr. Summers spent a lot of time answering my questions and made me feel very confident in his care. I appreciated his professional, calm demeanor. I had come to the clinic very worried, and left feeling that even if my situation was serious, I was in the right place. Thankfully, I appear to be pretty healthy, and the best part was that Dr. Summers called two days later to confirm this. He really gave me great peace of mind.

I wasn't a huge fan of a Dr. Sommers. He was ok. Maybe I was not having the greatest day but he could have been nicer. He has fair bedside manner but not great. The PA students were not bad, very seemed to have better bedside manner than Dr. Sommers did.

I think Dr. Summers is a genus and I was glad the nurse helped him explain some of the things in terms I could understand. I trust him but he does talk a lot of technical talk (which is a good thing)...but I think its brilliant how he and his nurse both work with the patient. Very comforting. She seems to fully support him.

It was a good experience once I was able to be examined. The doctor kept asking if I was all right. I endured the discomfort and was grateful that the doctor was concerned about my basic welfare during the uncomfortable exam.

Dr. Summers seems to be a caring person and always answers my questions.

He really listened to me and created an action plan to figure out what is wrong with me. I have been excited for days now because I feel like he is seeking a diagnosis rather than just treating the symptoms

Even though I live in Sandy, driving to Salt Lake to see Dr. Summers proves worth it. My husband and I will soon be trying for a little one, and having Dr. Summers as my doctor gives me a sense of ease. At my recommendation, my sister will soon be seeing Dr. Summers. Dr Summers and his PA took great time to explain to me the possible cause of health problem, told me the medicine they were giving me and explained why and then gave me a time for a follow to see how things were going. When my actuall doctor came in I was in the middle of explaining my situation to him and than he just left mid sentence of me talking. Very rude! I love the U of U but would like to change doctors if its not too late.

He was present for a few minutes, explained what his recommendations were with regard to determining the cause of my problem.

I am very pleased with Dr. Summers' clinical care and how he addresses my questions and concerns. We discuss future options each time I have an appointment. I feel like he takes the time he needs to answer my questions and does not rush out of the room.

Dr. Summers was very patient with my partner and I to answer all of our questions and to address all of our concerns. We went into the appointment with uncertainty and lots of questions, but left satisfied that we had enough answers to feel at ease about the diagnoses and treatment plan along with a knowing that we were acknowledged as persons, not numbers. We are very grateful to Dr. Summers for the time a patience he had with with us.

Provider spent a total of 4 minutes with me. Did not even explain how medication should be applied (how much, when to stop using etc) Did not give explanation as to possible causes or preventative methods.

Dr. Summers is the most kind and knowledgeable MD I've ever seen. He listens and addresses my concerns with patience and care. I would recommend him highly to family and friends.

I feel very comfortable with Dr Summers. He has always answered my questions and spent whatever time with me that I needed.

The MD spent a lot of time explaining my symptoms, cause, and treatments, which I appreciated, but I felt that it focused more on the immediate problem and did not necessarily address my concerns about managing my long term health and other personal concerns, for example, sexual activity.

I have profound respect for Dr.Sommers. I completely trust him and know that I am in the most capable hands possible.

As much as the exam is uncomfortable the Doctor and staff made me feel at ease, even with my humor.
