Bio

Dr. Ann Deneris has been a Certified Nurse-Midwife since 1981. She is in practice with BirthCare HealthCare, seeing patients at Madsen Clinic for obstetrics and gynecology care, and now caring for a second generation of women. Angela is also a clinician with the Midlife Women’s Health Assessment Clinic with the University Of Utah, Department of OB/GYN, Center of Excellence. She has an interest in menopause care and is excited about providing high quality care to women at this transitional stage in life.

Academic Bio

Dr. Ann Deneris is a graduate of the University of Utah, College of Nursing Nurse Midwifery Program in 1981 and receive her PhD in Health Promotion and Education in 1987. She was in private midwifery practice until joining the faculty at the University of Utah in 1990. She is a Professor Clinical in the Nurse-Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Programs and teaches students both didactically and clinically in BirthCare HealthCare Faculty Practice, caring for women at Madsen Clinic, University of Utah Health Sciences Center. She was on the Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing Nurse Midwifery Board for 21 years. Her areas of interest are genetics, obstetric complications, menopause, and professional liability.
