UofU Patient December 07, 2012I have been having trouble seeing with my currant contacts since my visit last year, although he was very good at explaining to me what was going on with my left eye and why it was causing me vision problems. I was not given a new prescription, but was referred to a retina specialist. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.

UofU Patient November 22, 2012Again I felt everything was rushed I was expecting more from the Moran Eye Center. My concerns were about Macular and the dr. said "I didn't have it see you in a year" Everyone in my mothers side of the family have it all aunts and uncle. It is now down into my generation and 7 of my cousins have it. I asked him about eye vitamins (Which everyone I know takes them in my family) and other things and he just said he didn't believe in them and see you next year. To me there wasn't really any concern.
UofU Patient November 21, 2012The doctor didn't really seem to listen to my concerns & basically told me that the pain in my eye was probably just muscle strain & use a warm cloth when needed. Pain obviously was more than just an annoyance to me. Then my prescription was incorrect. When I got my contacts I couldn't see out of them. Then I just asked for the old prescription? What a waste of time.

UofU Patient October 01, 2012Dr. Taylor was running late and I was an "easy" patient as I just needed an updated contact lens prescription. I was surprised that he was particularly curt and didn't bother to ask any question of a personal nature other than "how are you." As a patient of 10 years, I would expect just a bit more. I like his no-nonsense approach, though, and appreciate that he accomplishes the exam efficiently.

UofU Patient June 21, 2012My visit with the Dr. Taylor was extremely brief. I know he has a lot of patients and I was in for a standard eye check, but no one told me I had astigmatism in my right eye until I showed the optician my prescription to get new glasses. I know astigmatism, especially mild, is not a big deal, but it is something I would have liked to hear from Dr. Taylor or the tech. I just didn't like the surprise of finding out in the optical shop and I have no idea if I need to watch for any signs that it is getting worse. Other than that, my visit was great and very speedy, staff were friendly and courteous and they guys in the Optical shop were fantastic.

Didn't explain much to me about my glasses prescription and i have never worn glasses before, so that would have been nice.

The doctor and nurse stayed with me for nearly one hour and provided excellent care and assurance, until I was transferred to emergency where I also received great care and competent assistance with my condition. The nurse and doctor at the eye center did everything they could to insure my safety. They made good decisions concerning my care.

UofU Patient January 20, 2012The doctor did not check my contact lenses. They remained in my pocket. He said there were no problems diabetic wise and said there should no changes in the lens. Recommended reading glasses of +200 in order to read the music. Seemed to be in a hurry. The contact lens were prescribed by a doctor from another area four years ago. I'm wondering how he knew they were still ok.
UofU Patient January 09, 2012I would have liked the dr to take a little more time explaining why we had a problem and show a little more concern. His availability is very poor and it's time I have to take to come back when mistakes are made.
