Academic Bio

Dr. King's research has taken on problems common to clinical practice such as oral feeding progression, the evaluation of new respiratory modalities, and other management issues. His current focus is on PDA management. He is collaborating with colleagues in ENT and Thoracic surgery to reduce the incidence of vocal fold paralysis following PDA ligation. A past area of interest still getting attention is that of NICU design - he serves on a national committee which publishes design standards and makes recommendations to the American Institute of Architects.
