Bio

Amie S. Clark APRN, FNP-c is a Nurse Practitioner at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in the Outpatient Hematology Division (Clinic 2B). As a Nurse Practitioner in this department she sees and treats Hematology patients both independently and along side the several Hematology/Oncology Physicians. She also specializes in performing Bone Marrow Biopsies, Skin Biopsies and Lumbar Punctures which may or may not include the instillation of intrathecal chemotherapy.

Amie Clark received her Master's Degree from the University of Utah in 2006 and her specialized training in Hematology and related procedures at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Prior to her advanced degree she spent several years at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City as a Registered Nurse providing care for Inpatient Medical and Hematology/Oncology patients as well as giving chemotherapy. She also was recently involved in a research study run by the University of Utah College of Nursing using Nurse Practitioners to manage Oncology Outpatient's symptoms while receiving chemotherapy from June 2011 through May 2012.
