UofU Patient November 19, 2012Dr Voorhies was great. After each test he would come talk to me. He was up front and honest when he talked with me. He consulted with other doctors when nothing was showing on the tests. He put meat ease, even when he knew I was worried and stressed about the outcome.

He knew the best tests to order based on my history and he immediately made sure I was aware of the test results once he received them. I highly recommend him.

UofU Patient June 25, 2012In addition to thoroughly discussions my symptoms and treatment and laying out a plan, Dr. Voorhies personally contacted me the next day to make sure that my fever had responded to the antibiotics he had prescribed. I was extremely impressed with the quality of care and the follow-through.
UofU Patient May 05, 2012We have had Dr. Voorhies two different times in Acute Care and find him to be very efficient. He has a calming effect as he explains the tests to be done and then later in giving you the results. We found him to be very thorough in his examinations and would high recommend him as well as the Huntsman Cancer Institute and have done so to others. We felt very confident with Dr. Voorhies and would highly commend him on his suggestions.
