Susan E. Cochella, M.D., M.P.H.

I went in for a yearly check up i was waiting for a while to see the doctor and when i did it turn out to be a short one. She did not read my previous report from another doctor that she referred me to. She had my blood test results and forget to inform till i reminded her. She is in a hurry to see another patient. I feel that she could have done better with a little bit more time and reading patient's history would make the patient more confident in the physician. Overall it was good. The physician was very kind, positive and very professional she knows her job well.

Dr. Cochella is kind, receptive, thorough and treats her patients/parents as intelligent individuals.

Dr. Cochella made feel very comfortable. I was worried about having to change to a new PCP due to insurance plan change but she really demonstrated that she listens and cares.

After going through 4 different PCPs in SLC, I honestly love Dr. Cochella. She is a fantastic doc; very knowledgeable, and certainly seems to care about how I'm doing. I really, really, like her. I've recommended numerous friends and colleagues to switch to her, and they've all been very happy as well.

I'm very impressed with my new dr. I am excited to work with her through my wellness issues or any concerns. She's great!

I understand why the doctor was running late and it did not make me upset. I just wish knowing the time the doctor does spen with each patient that she would not schedule as many during the day to keep on schedule better

I had fallen on the ice and heard my ankle crack. All I wanted was an Xray to see if there was a fracture. The MD delayed my request by insisting on having my weight and vitals by the assistant. This was very upsetting to me and I felt wasted my time and the MD's time. The MD could have done a more thorough assessment after the xray and saved me a lot of time especially since I thought the xray would not show any fracture I just wanted to be sure.

Dr. Cochella has been a perfect provider for my needs.

This was a well visit because I just started Medicare. I was essentially having no problems and the doctor and nurse were both very complimentary of my health. Made me feel good.

I adore Dr. Cochella and have made many referrells to friends. Dr. Cochella is not only capapble but also is very personable and has the best "bedside manner" in my experience. She always leave me feeling like I am the one ending the appointment, not her because she is so good at making sure all of my concerns have been covered.

The Dr was excpetional! She treated myself and my daughter with compassion and sincere care!

She was very busy with a seriously ill patient, but took time to see me because she knew I'd been waiting. I wasn't ill--just following up a previous concern. She took time to check whether I needed a lab test, and ordered it. Excellent, given how busy she was.

I have recommended Dr. Cochella to many of my 'girl' friends who were looking for another primary care physician. So far, 2 have gone to see her and just think she's the best!

i have been very fortunate to have Dr. Cochella as my physician. She seems to be a perfect fit to my personality. She makes every effort to address my concerns and problems.

I had a few issues and wanted them addressed at that visit. The visit was very short and I was told to make another appointment to address the other issues I had. Overall time out of my schedule was more than 1 hour yet the time I was alotted to address my issues was 15 min. I don't want to feel like an invalid, making Dr. appointments every month, nor do I have that kind of time. I also didn't want to wait for another month to address the other issues. I will come back. I just wish I could deal with everything at once.

Susan is a great doctor -- I went through 4 docs elsewhere trying to find a good one, and I'm very happy with her and her level of care.

This was the best experience I've ever had with a doctor. I felt like she sincerely cares about me and I was treated with the highest respect and courtesy.

This was probably the best appointment I have had at any University clinic. The appointment did not feel rushed and the provider spent more than 10 minutes with me.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cochella. She is kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and makes me feel at ease. She listens to me and includes me in the treatment plan.

I can at times be a difficult patient. I will debate about my tx at times if I do not agree or like it. Dr. Cochella is terrific about listening to my reasoning. We discuss the matter until we both agree. I like being able to voice my thoughts and not just be told what to do.

I love the doctor, but it is so hard to get an appointment with her and when you do, each appointment is 5 minutes long. This is frustrating.

Dr. Cochella has been my physician for 12 or so years. She understands me. And that makes the visit worth any amount of time. Dr. Cochella doesn't just talk. She truly listens to me.

Would love to continue seeing Dr. Cochella, but scheduling appointments in the afternoon/evening is almost impossible...

the focus of our interaction was about my medications and health promotion needs. THis seemed appropriate for a first visit.

Dr. Cochella took extra time to discuss my issues and actually brought up other issues from my history which weren't necessarily the reason for my visit. She asked additional questions to see if there were other health concerns I had and actually discussed with me a family history of skin cancer and performed a quick skin check on my upper torso which I probably needed but had forgotten to ask for. I expressed concern about having enough refills for my prescriptions since I only see the doctor about once a year. She gave me a years worth of refills which was just what I needed.

Already recommended Dr Cochella to several of my friends. I really like her - she showed concern without judging, has several plans implemented for me already, and I'm following up with her next week.

Refreshing experince to have a caring and friendly provider

I last saw Dr. Cochella in 2003/2004(?) and look forward to working with her again as my primary care physician. I appreciate her willingness to work with me in my attempt to control and manage my health problems and, hopefully, not have to depend on medications.
