he took plenty of time to answer all of our questions and explain what he was thinking. he was very pleasant and assuring that he could help me.UofU Patient June 06, 2014
Dr. Fang was very personal and concerned about my health and function of eating and swallowing. He offered options regarding further tests since surgery and gave me the choice to choose what and when.UofU Patient June 04, 2014
We were taken from the exam room to the scheduler for procedures. Dr. Fang disappeared. We didn't have the opportunity to ask him about continuing on a liquid diet. That was a big deal for me and big question.UofU Patient May 16, 2014
I have been a patient of Dr. Fang's on and off for many years based on my needs. He always shows genuine concern for my issues and asks all the right questions to get at the core of my problems. Dr. Fang takes his time with me and always puts a lot of thought into the process of recommending a course of action or treatment. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr. Fang to others. I consider myself one of the lucky ones that is fortunate to have Dr. Fang on my team of doctors. Dr. Fang is a 5+.UofU Patient April 13, 2014
He didn't talk to me that long, he did no examination and seemed to get frustrated really easy.UofU Patient February 07, 2014
I have the highest level of confidence in Dr. Fang and his abilities. He is a great listener and a quick study. Since we don't yet know what I am dealing with, Dr. Fang is trying to come up with a diagnosis through the process of elimination. He laid out a systematic and logical plan and discussed the different procedures with me to make sure I was comfortable with each one.UofU Patient June 11, 2013
Dr. Fang was more thorough with me than I have been in a long time with the GI clinic. I miss Dr. Peterson, but Dr. Fang is just as good!UofU Patient June 11, 2013
Dr. Fang always makes me feel that he is trying everything he can. I just love him.He is very easy to talk with and Sarah treats me like she has know me for along time. This makes a patient know that even though I am a complex pain in the butt, they always make me feel at ease. Dr. Glasgow is just as great. I know that they are doing everything they can. And they keep each other informed. I just can't say enough about how great they are.UofU Patient June 10, 2013

My experiences with Dr. Fang have always been good. He takes time to listen and discuss any problems. He seems genuinely interested in the individual patient.UofU Patient March 11, 2013
The visit with Dr. Fang was great! I had seen other doctors before and the time I was with Dr. Fang in that single visit was longer than all of my other GI specialist appointments combined. I was very pleased with all that happenedUofU Patient February 11, 2013

After waiting so long to get in, I was a little dissapointed that I still had to go through more tests before I find out anything that can be done. I'm just so tired of dealing with the Gastroparesis & I want to get it under control so I can get my life back!UofU Patient February 15, 2012
Dr Fang is frustrated with my condition because he doesn't know what else to try. I have to see him because he is the only doctor in Utah that is knowledgeable about the gastric stimulator i have.UofU Patient January 25, 2012
I did see Dr. Fang for a minute but I felt like it was not enough. No one had my records from my previous time with him. I was looking for options, ideas, and knowledge about my disease. Do I have any options - besides surgery? I felt liked I deserved more. I am not sure if there is anywhere else in Salt Lake to get help with Achalasia. I am discouraged about getting help.
