Bio

Amy Nelson worked for three years in a busy OB/Gyn practice specializing in Women’s Health care needs and concurrently worked in the OB Emergency Services unit at the University of Utah hospital. Recently, she began working with the Birth-Care Health Care unit primarily in the Teen Mother and Child clinic.
Amy is currently working on implementing uniformity, standardization and appropriate documentation of telephone triage calls for the labor and delivery patient. Amy served as the Education coordinator for the providers in OB Emergency Services.
