Liena Brady, MSN FNP-BC is an Emergency Department Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Utah. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2008 from the University of Utah and is Family Nurse Practitioner ANCC certified. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University. She began working at the University of Utah as a registered nurse in 1999 in Burn Trauma ICU, where she remained for 11 years. During this time she gained extensive experience in wound care, critical care and the operating room. In 2003 she was awarded the MVP because of her excellence that was exhibited in all facets of the Burn unit. Prior to re-joining the Emergency Department in 2010 she gained valuable experience in the Cardiology Department at the University of Utah, Urgent care and Rural outreach clinics. As an outdoor enthusiast she enjoys hiking, trail running, backpacking, camping, cycling, snowboarding, telemark skiing and enjoying family and friends.
