Bio

Alyson Edmunds, MD, MPH, received her undergraduate degree in Biology, her master’s degree in Public Health, and her medical degree at the University of Utah. She then completed her Pediatric residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She is board certified in General Pediatrics. Following completion of her residency, she stayed in Richmond to work as a pediatrician in a Pediatric Emergency Department. She did this for a year before moving back home to begin a career in Utah. Dr. Edmunds joined the faculty at the University Of Utah School Of Medicine in August 2011 as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatrics. The majority of her clinical time is spent at Riverton Hospital Children’s Unit as a Pediatric Hospitalist.
