January 19, 2015

Dr. Willick was exceptional in every way!

January 17, 2015

Resident did not seem to address primary problem, instead finding a secondary issue that is usually very minor. Dr. Willick initially focused on problem as presented to him by the resident but also focused on options for my chief complaint.

December 30, 2014

again: best care ever. very consistent. well done!

December 24, 2014

The Resident was very codacending and seemed to have a lack of concern regarding my problem that prompted the visit. The Attending MD was kind , but did not explain his care plan- He did tell me I would need physical therapy. I WAS NEVER TOLD WHO TO CONTACT TO SCHEDULE PHYSICAL THERAPY - I left the visit with NO INFORMATION! I did not receive the level of care that I had expected and hoped for -- very disappointing. I plan to see a different provider-even if it's out of network. My visit @ UofU Ortho was basically a big waste of time

December 23, 2014

Dr. Willick spent a lot of time explaining the xrays and going over my medical problems. He was excellent.

December 21, 2014

I was so impressed with Dr Willick. He answered all of my questions and did a very thorough exam. His diagnosis was right on and he referred me to someone near my home for a follow-up. I cannot say enough good about him.

December 12, 2014

December 08, 2014

Dr. Willick was extremely helpful. He clearly explained the problems I have, prescribed the exercises to promote healing, provided useful information and reassurances to do's and don'ts. He answered all of my questions expertly in an easy to understand manner.

October 28, 2014

October 27, 2014

A different world compared to other clinics/drs I've seen in Salt Lake

October 07, 2014

I received excellent care and attention from both the NP or PA (not sure which he was) and from Dr. Willick. Dr. Willick provided options for next steps and enrolled me in deciding on next steps.

Dr Willick is amazing! knows that my primary concern is living a quality life as long as I can! his treatment plan helps me do so!

September 27, 2014

It is difficult to answer Items 5 & 6 above, because I do NOT remember either one of them happening. Regarding items 9 & 10, I have already recommended, and my husband is scheduled to see Dr Willick. I will continue to recommend him to others!

September 25, 2014

Very pleased with my experience with the interns and with the doctor. Very patient - explained and answered all questions.

September 12, 2014

I absolutely loved Dr. Willick. He was very personable and friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely come back again.

September 12, 2014

Just referred my grandson to Dr Willick

September 03, 2014

The only complaint was that the doctors were focused on an area of my back, that while painful was not the reason for me seeking medical advice. I had to remind both residents and Dr. Willick that my main concern was pain in a location different than what they focused on. After the reminder Dr. Willick thanked me and focused on the area, which I appreciated immensely.

September 02, 2014

very pleased with Dr. Willick

August 27, 2014

It was hard to explain my pain and they pretty much told me to excersize more and I get plenty of that with my four kid's and I still don't know what's wrong

August 22, 2014

Dr Willick is very thorough and thoughtful, I feel included in the decisions made and feel he really cares to figure out what is afflicting me

August 21, 2014

Even though Dr Willick was unable to help me (because I had been sent to the wrong place) he cared enough to make sure I got with the correct provider and scheduled some test he thought they would need. He was very helpful!

August 21, 2014

he was horrible. didn't even help. waste of time.

August 20, 2014

This was the highest level of professionalism. And I'm generally not an enthusiastic critic of today's medical system. Dr. Willick and his staff are to be congratulated for their communication and work.

August 14, 2014

Doctor and resident both great.

August 05, 2014

We did not talk about drugs. I was amazed at the level the provider went to, to help me understand and to see exactly what had happened. I have never had this level of care before.

July 16, 2014

Dr. Willick was very concerned when I described for him the complications I have been having since surgery. He was willing to discuss my surgical experiences as well as contact my surgeon to see if I needed more follow up. I truly appreciated his concern and effort in assisting with increasing my quality of life and quality of care from the University of Utah. I believe that Dr. Willick is the best doctor that I have worked with at the University of Utah.

July 15, 2014

I was visiting Dr Willick for a knee and back problem. We addressed the knee, but didn't get to the MRI of the back which the Assistant had brought up on the computer, along with the knee XRay. After the Doctor left the room a nurse came in and I asked her about my back and she said she'd be happy to schedule another appointment, I declined.

July 04, 2014

Dr Willick was fabulous. Diagnosed my husbands disease quickly which was missed by our internist. Called the next day to see how meds worked and inform on next steps

June 28, 2014

Dr. Willick MD was very understanding and interested in my case and how I cope with my condition: Complementary Methods, like Energy Kinesiology besides exercises and Herbal Supplements.

June 26, 2014

June 05, 2014

I have either a hip or back problem and all i ended up with was go see another doctor I cannot help you

Dr. Willick strikes me as a true professional that cares deeply about his field of medicine and the care of his patients.

May 31, 2014

Drs. Willick and Deimal made my pain go away instantly.

May 22, 2014

Very pleased with the medical service provided by Dr. Willick. I especially liked how he asked for my thoughts. This is my second left knee injury, and I have a strong opinion about how I don't like how the last surgeon treated me and what I want to do differently this time. Dr. Willick was very attentative to what I discussed with him, and he seemed to honestly take my opinions into account when making his decision.

May 22, 2014

I had a great experience with Dr Willick. I felt very good with his care

May 11, 2014

I trust Dr. Willick and am impressed with the fact that he actually listens and includes me in decisions.

May 06, 2014

Dr. Willick is a caring, careful and very skilled provider. I felt fortunate to have been able to see him for my two problems.

April 30, 2014

These answers are related to care by the resident who saw us prior to Dr. Willick. Dr. Willicks time with us was limited. However we felt we got more information from him than the resident.

April 26, 2014

Lots of great attention from FOUR doctors at once (physiatrist, surgeon, and their resident/fellow).

April 25, 2014

Good experience. Professional, friendly, informative.

April 22, 2014

I really appreciated how many dr's came in to assist. My confidence in my treatment soared. Thank you

February 24, 2014

Dr. Willick was very kind and patient with my dad.

February 10, 2014

Dr Willick is great!

February 05, 2014

Excellent care. Spent a lot of time answering questions. Very careful review of symptoms and potential solutions. Good bedside manner.

February 02, 2014

I felt like I was an inconvenience to the Dr. Dr. couldn't remember why I was there, which he had just seen me two days prior. I felt the Dr. missed critical information to my issue. I felt like a number!

January 30, 2014

I would like more explanation about the problem he diagnosed.

January 21, 2014

Doctors were wonderful-went to great lengths to assure that they had given us the best care we could ask for! Would recommend them and have the utmost in confidence in their ability. Thank You!

January 16, 2014

Excellent care. Communicated frequently about what next steps were and what the purpose was. Helped me feel comfortable during procedure. Put me at ease. Gave me confidence in the care being provided. Seemed genuinely concerned about me. This is an excellent physician.

January 16, 2014

I came for a second opinion and much preferred Dr. Willick to the physician I had seen previously.

January 15, 2014

I recommend Dr. Willick all the time.

January 10, 2014

Dr. Willick said to call him anytime if I have a problem. I thought that was very kind although I'd hate to thanks Dr. 'W'.

December 28, 2013

December 26, 2013

Dr. Willick is one of the best physicians in the city or state. He is very helpful at diagnosing the source of an injury. He explained my imagining studies to me so I could understand them. He explained the course of treatment, the medications, and gave me optimism and confidence. I have a great deal of confidence in Dr. Willick and routinely refer friends and family to see him.

December 19, 2013

This was probably my last visit to Dr. Willick and in one way I'm sorry to see the sessions end. However, my foot is getting better and I'm thankful for that.

December 17, 2013

all very good. Dr. Willick had a good grasp of the situation and of possible treatments.

December 13, 2013

I felt like the doctor just went through my chart and already came to conclusions before even talking with me. I felt like the doc was not concerned at all about listening to me or how much pain I've been in

December 12, 2013

I was impressed at the thoroughness and time spent with me

December 10, 2013

My case was handled by both the MD and a resident. Both were very friendly, asking me about my life and making the interactions personal. Every question I asked was answered in full and without making me feel like they were being explained to me like I was a child. Every test we did was explained fully and so was the ultrasound system used to look at my tendons. Follow up physical therapy was also explained. The entire experience made me feel comfortable and confident in my recovery.

December 09, 2013

Dr. Willick is an excellent care provider in every way.

December 05, 2013

Dr. Willick took the time to explain the differences between the x-rays taken that day and the ones from two weeks ago. I had a good feel for how my recovery was going.

November 29, 2013

Dr. Willick is great. He's very calm and really cares. I'm not thrilled with his resident, but I'm willing to be patient and wait until Dr. Willick comes in the room.

November 26, 2013

No meds needed, unless I needed to take Tylenol (or generic). If I had needed meds I'm sure Dr. Willick would have given good advice.

November 25, 2013

Very good visit with Doctor

November 18, 2013

Dr. Willik was excellent! Very thorough explanations, took time to make sure I understood all of my options and then provided several different ways I could get back in touch with him when I decided how I wanted to proceed. I would highly recommend him.

November 14, 2013

Seemed like the doctor had not checked in with the PT practitioner and had no clue as to what other issues might be complicating my issue.

November 05, 2013

Dr. Willick is a caring physician. He communicates well with patients and other health care providers. I really appreciate that he personally called my physical therapist to discuss my rehabilitation.

November 05, 2013

Dr. Willick is great

October 31, 2013

I would, without hesitation or qualification, recommend Dr. Willick to a friend.

October 30, 2013

professional and great bedside manners. Answered all my questions. Felt very at ease and cared about

October 25, 2013

Dr. Willick is amazing.

October 14, 2013

Felt like the provider had a pre-conceived notion of my problem and was not receptive to other concerns and descriptions of the problem. It seems it's always "more drugs and maybe some PT" and less of lets figure out what the real problem is before we move forward. I'd like to have them tried a few more tests to rule out a few other possibilities. These tests were done by the PT a few days later, and the conclusions were alot different. I hope that the PT and the DOC actually communicate together to hlpe us out.

September 27, 2013

very good

September 02, 2013

The visit with Dr. Willick and his staff was thorough, informative, and actually enjoyable -- highest marks all around.

August 31, 2013

very knowledgeable and able to explain my situation thoroughly and effectively

August 28, 2013

Dr Willick pulled up the exrays and MRI from Feb and March of this year, he went over them in detail with myself and his assistant, explained what was going to be done and how the double injection was going to be done, showed the path the needles would travel and what I should expect from the outcome.

August 27, 2013

Excellent, I will definitely be recommending him to others

August 27, 2013

I always have a good experience with Dr. Willick and at your facility.

August 20, 2013

Dr. Willick was wonderful. I found him to be friendly, a good listener, thorough in his medical explanations and unhurried.I agreed with his conservative medical approach and including my thoughts in the treatment plan.I look forward to seeing him again.

August 17, 2013

August 17, 2013

Dr Willick and his assistants were very nice, caring and professional. The doctor knew how he wanted to proceed, and explained it well.

August 08, 2013

Best doctor in town. I promote this doctor whenever I can.

August 07, 2013

I am a devoted fan of Dr. Willick. I refer all of my friends to him. In my experience he is the best provider at the Orthopedic Hospital. He listens, he thinks, and he discusses. He treats me with an amount of respect equivalent to the respect he gets as a physician. I trust him for all of my orthopedic needs!

August 05, 2013

Dr Willick is always very thorough and helpful

August 05, 2013

Both the PA and Dr. Willick were excellent -- thorough and friendly. I would, indeed, recommend them to others.

August 05, 2013

As far as treatment went for my problem, his solution was the be all end all, and I really didn't feel like I had any say in it.

August 05, 2013

The care provider order x-rays, review x-rays with me and even talked to a radiologist to help answer some of my questions. All these took 5-10 minutes... it was beyond my expectations.

August 02, 2013

I really like Dr. Willick and have intentionally chosen to return to him. He seems to express sincere interest in my challenges. He also took time to explain to the MD assiting him what was going on with me, a bit of my history and why we were repeating a procedure which made sense to do with both Dr. Willick and me under the circumstances

August 02, 2013

The resident spent quite a bit of time with me explaining my medical condition, including going over my MRI. Dr. Willick appeared to be in a hurry and even though he was friendly, I had to do a lot of questioning.

July 08, 2013

I have been seen by Dr. Willick in the past. I feel at ease and trust in his knowledge of his practice. He seems to really care about his patients condition and the avenues he can take in helping them.

June 26, 2013

Dr. willick and Dr. Wang have an excellent bedside manner, they are not so clinical, they can feel and relate to your feelings and consider everything in their care and treatment plans!

June 22, 2013

Very much appreciate Dr Willick's expertise and treatments

June 18, 2013

Dr Willick and the fellow were outstanding. Dr Willick is committed to his patients and even demonstrated all recommended exercises himself (on the floor) to assure proper understanding - it is refreshing to have someone take time in this hectic healthcare environment to show compassion and concern.

June 14, 2013

Excellent experience!

May 28, 2013

all good

May 24, 2013

I am totally confident and satisfied with the quality of care that Dr Willick provides me.

May 20, 2013

My Doctor is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He made me feel like I was his only apt and concern he had all day. He was quick to show me my MRI s and X-rays to explain opinions and diagnoses. He explained his ideas and opinions as may times as he needed to without making me feel inferior. We were able to come to an agree to a course of treatment quickly but never rushed. This treatment handed me off to another MD which the staff not me myself made the apt for. The Doctor was also quick to remind me that he was my MD and I could contact his at any time, that just because he wanting me to see another MD did not end our relationship. This is very comforting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May 14, 2013

Am so confident of Dr. Willick because, when I asking him to just cut off surgically my middle right finger, he ask me to give him a chance and explain alternatives and the benefits. Yes, I would recommend him.

May 13, 2013

My only complaint is that, upon further research, I was made aware that the medication caused panic/anxiety attacks, among other things. I mentioned to the doctor I was prone to anxiety, yet, instead of being offered a less problematic medication, or even a much lower dosage, I was given a second anti-depressant medication. I don't think the medication prescribed was the best for me.

May 10, 2013

Great Experience

May 08, 2013

Dr. Willick is an outstanding physician! He is a good listener and provided me with a thoughtful and collaborative treatment plan. I have recommended him to many of my friends.

April 16, 2013

April 09, 2013

I feel Dr Willick is very concerned over my recovery.

April 01, 2013

Very good

March 18, 2013

I am from out of state. The doctor went the extra mile to make another appointment in SLC to get an ultrasound done on my shoulder to make it more convenient for me. This was wonderful care and attention to my needs.

March 12, 2013

Dr. Willick took his time; asked alot of questions and explained treatment/plan of care appropriately; never seemed rushed ("get 'em in, get 'em out" attitude alot of providers have); seemed genuinely concerned.

March 11, 2013

Dr. Willick is superb and an excellent physician

March 04, 2013

The shot they gave me in my shoulder was almost painless and it did what it was supposed to do.

Dr. Willick was superb in all aspects!! He is a wonderful physician!

February 04, 2013

Dr. Willick demonstrated interest and care while I was with him. I really appreciate his warmth. Hope his thumb gets better soon!

Dr willick took extra time to show me where the injection would be placed on an anatomical model. I appreciated his explanation.

October 22, 2012

I have already recomended Dr. Willick to 3 other members of our family and friends.

October 15, 2012

The doctor was critical of my concerns, unwilling to give a medical opinion regarding the causation of my issue and generally irritated with me.

October 10, 2012

I like the relaxed pace of my doctor visit at Redstone versus UUOC. Dr. Willick took a lot of time with me including allowing a med student to exam and ask questions as part of her training.

October 09, 2012

Dr Willick took extra time to review my MRI results with me.

October 05, 2012

excellent service, very happy with doctor!

July 09, 2012

I have the utmost confidence in Dr Willick.

June 29, 2012

Very helpful to have seen x-rays and have conditions explained.

June 27, 2012

I was very pleased and impressed

June 25, 2012

I like Dr. Willick, he is thorough and yet also considerate of my time (asking me if I have time for an ultrasound rather than assuming).

June 11, 2012

My overall experience was very good.

May 19, 2012

Dr's mannerisms put me at ease, very comfortable interaction

May 16, 2012

Dr. Willick was very good at explaining my condition to me following my MRI. In addition they presented me with options regarding treatment and followup. Nice coordination of care.

May 11, 2012

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I would have liked, however, the Dr. to have spent a little more time discussing my next steps after the ex-ray results.

May 01, 2012

My experience with Dr Willick was great. His knowledge and expertise definitely showed. I so appreciate the time he took to with the examination and discussion about my injury. I would recommend Dr Willick to anyone.

April 27, 2012

Dr Willick is and outstanding communictor. I have seen many physicians in my 25 years of care at the U. He is the best.

April 17, 2012

Dr. Willick who was okay and instrumental in getting a much needed MRI for me but probably not the appropriate care provider for my problem (surgical problem not a rehab or sportmed problem).

April 04, 2012

Dr. Willick was friendly and thorough. He took the time to explain what was going on and a course of action. I would definitely recommend to anyone to come to the clinic and to Dr. Willick

March 23, 2012

Dr. Stuart Willick is a wonderful provider. I recommend him to family and friends.

March 21, 2012

I left with the impression my case is a mild one requiring minor physical therapy so I should feel good there was no serious concern to expect from the Dr.

March 16, 2012

I trust Dr Willick to help me make the best decisions about my treatment. He explains all of my options and makes me feel that he cares about my recovery.

March 14, 2012

Dr. Willick and staff did a fantastic job all the way around. Hopefully, I will not have to return for a repeat procedure, but if I do, I know who I want doing it.

March 13, 2012

Very good experience! Great bedside!

March 07, 2012

I have always had great care at your clinic .

March 03, 2012

The dr was excellent; very easy to talk to and not in a hurry with me.

February 15, 2012

Dr. Willick is an amazing doctor and I have complete confidence in him and the treatments he recommends. The assitant, Lauren, is very friendly and competent . The Ortho Center is lucky to employ both of them.

January 11, 2012

The doctor hurried to help me after the delay so I wuold make the appointment for the injection he said I needed.

January 07, 2012

Awesome, talented physician. EMR process needs some work to be better incorporated into the workstream at Redstone. It is currently a distraction.
