Bio

Hannah Edwards, MD, MPH, is a board-certified Occupational Medicine and Family Medicine physician. She specializes in the care of injured workers, and in OSHA, DOT, and employer-mandated examinations. Dr. Edwards earned her medical degree at Georgetown University, and completed her master’s degree and residency programs at the University of Utah. Her professional interests include research into the causes of musculoskeletal conditions, the development of evidence-based practice guidelines, and the teaching of occupational health students. She teaches several courses in the Masters of Occupational Health graduate school curriculum, including Clinical and Behavioral Aspects of Preventive Medicine and Advanced Topics in Occupational and Environmental Health. In addition, she contributes to the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Practice Guidelines – a leading evidence-based guideline for the care of injured workers.
