UofU Patient January 28, 2013Although a knowledgable Doctor, he was not personable. I would not go back to him due to feeling like he did not care that I was sick or that I wanted to get better. He gave me my medications and sent me on my way. Like a ticket holder at a football game. He told me what was wrong right away and didn't sugarcoat anything like most other doctors do b/c they don't want to get into trouble telling you what is wrong (fearing that they may be wrong).

UofU Patient January 14, 2013Doctor did not say what was probably wrong with me, he didn't say anything, just to get some test. He only mentioned what he didn't think it was. Had to ask him about the medicine myself
UofU Patient January 14, 2013The wait to see him was way too long. The blood pressure cuff was broken. They brought in a mobile unit and had trouble getting it to work.
UofU Patient December 31, 2012Provider gave the impression that he did not know how to diagnose my problem and it seemed that he normally does not work within the family practice area. There were several times he asked me the same question multiple times. In the end the only diagnosis he had was that it must be the flu or something.

UofU Patient September 11, 2012Dr. Kottarathil is amazing -- the best doctor in the place. Connie, his nurse, is equally good. I don't remember the name of the CNA who assisted in checking me in, but she was quite nice, as well.
UofU Patient August 28, 2012I checked out 4 or 5 other doctors here, before Doctor Kottarathil. He has been very kind and considerate. I like that he is thorough. He saved me a lot of pain and trouble by finding problems before they became very painful and serious. He does not keep looking at his watch, like one of the other doctors did.
UofU Patient August 01, 2012The provider seemed to be more concerned about my blood pressure (which I feel was not taken accurately) than the issue I was being seen for which was my knee. No explanation was given for my pain, which I am still struggling with. No follow up was indicated to solve the issue.

I share my visit results with my daughter who is a physician assistant and she agrees, based on her hospital and clinical experience, that I have a good doctor.
