He also made sure my wife got updates during the procedure to let her know how things were going and when the procedure was likely to be finished.

Dr. Ward was even able to give my condition a name. I was relieved to know I was not such an oddity and even though I may have to accept my â¿¿new normâ¿, he is treating me with a positive outlook for positive results.

UofU Patient February 25, 2013Dr. Ward listens to my concerns and adjusts treatment as needed, answers fully all my questions. I walk out knowing what to expect and when. I have full trust in him. I have watched him explain disease, treatment, symptoms to others in training. He is secure in his medical knowledge and is willing to share it. He performed my eye and nose surgery this past year and I was given such complete pre-, present-, post-instructions that were the envy of every person I showed them to (and I showed many). I knew what to expect, what to have on hand such as meds and food. Everything was so detailed and I really didn't doubt or have any fear whatsoever.

UofU Patient December 25, 2012I had a bad experience because Dr. Ward was in such a hurry. For one thing my chart was never in the exam room for the Dr. to look at to see where he had injected the botox last time, so he just very quickly injected the botox in the wrong place. He did not ask me how it had worked for me last time and if I want the same injections, he just started injecting. I am not participating in the in-office study of botox medicines and I hope this has not decreased my care. I've had very good care from the Dr. up until I said I wasn't inserested in the in- office study. But when he doesn't take the time to talk to me before injecting the botox he easily makes mistakes which effect my life greatly. My face is a mess as it is and if he doesn't listen to me he can easily make my face worse. I can't afford for him to make my face look worse than it is. I know he is in a hurry, but it's my quality of life he is rushing through.

I appreciate the person who greets you at the door to assist. And, all the staff is friendly and helpful!

I called into his office and had a receptionist put a note into the computer to have someone call me with lab result information, but I still have not received a call. I am very concerned about this. This is extremely annoying and unprofessional.
UofU Patient January 24, 2012He made me feel stupid for coming in for the lump on my neck, and acted like I was to stupid to know better. I never go to the doctor and I finally do, and he made me feel bad about it. No reassurance at all.
