Very formal, but kind & nice. I like that she didn't give me grief, & actually listened to me...rare in docs these days. Two unsolicited compliments for her from her staff...speaks volumes

My doctor has always shown that there is sincere care and concern in the treatment given. Always calls if there is any questions of lab work, and is on top of the care I need the most.

I realize she is a very busy Doctor however, it would have been really nice if she could have addressed my questions about my weight gain and helped me figure out what to do about it.

Dr. Shakeri was really rushed. I think that she needs another internist over there to help with the patients.

Dr Shakeri is one of the best doctors I have had in all my years in the healthcare system. She is very throw in her care and makes sure all aspects of your health are monitored. If it is a specific problem she knows what specialist to send you to. She is a very caring and understanding person as well.

Dr was very knowledgeable. She was much more thorough and made me feel incredibly more relieved that she was "on it". I was sick, she knew it and she did everything she could to get me what I needed and test me to protect both myself, my husband and the community. I cannot say the same for the PA who saw me the week before. Although he was pleasant enough, he missed the boat so to say, on diagnosing me & getting me what I clearly needed. As a medical provider myself, I wanted to tell him what I needed, but as this was my first visit I did not want to offend him and believed he knew best. On this next visit to the Dr, I did make some suggestions, however I felt she was already on the same page.

I have been seeing Dr. Shakeri for many years and find her an excellent physician. However, she never calls me by name. She calls me "mam". It feels impersonal.

Dr. Shakeri came highly recommended when I called the UofU appointment center and also by my dermatologist. His PA raved about her! They were right. I wish her assistant added to the good experience. Those helping at the front desk were very helpful and answered all questions I had.

I was so confused at the lack of concern I recieived. I asked what I could do for my pain and the Dr looked at me as if I was stupid and said "glucosomine? I am already on that and I am in so much pain it has been hard for me to move. I came home pretty sad and bewildered.

Dr. Shakeri seemed rushed.

I have been pleased to have Dr. Shakeri as my primary care physician and health consultant. I think that we have a good "team" approach reagrding my healthcare and well-being.

Dr. Shakeri is completely present in the exam room. She listens well. She speaks up about treatment recommendations. She is on top of things.

She had an emergency patient so she hoped in and out however I would hope she would do the same for me if I were the emergency patient.

Dr Shakeri was rude to me and seemed annoyed that I was there. She gave me conflicting medical advice and I do not plan to return to her.

This was my first appointment and it didn't involve procedures other than taking weight, blood pressure and height...blood work was set up ..... I'm confident that Dr. Shakeri will take very good care of me in the future and I look forward to knowing her better in the future.

Dr Shikiri was very good. She was not in a hurry to get me in and out. She did not get up to leave until I said I had asked all my questions.

??The doctor spoke very quietly even though I told her I was hard of hearing. It seemed that each time I told her I couldn't hear her, she actually got even quieter. When the nurse came in to assist she had to repeat what the doctor said so I could hear it. The nurse was great! ??

Dr. Shakeri can be so friendly and warm at times, but this is not a consistent demeanor. More often, her communication is impersonal and businesslike. Perhaps she is over-scheduled and thus has no time to address my deeper concerns or provide information to back her medical recommendations. I feel more like a patient than a person when I see her. This is not necessary, though, because she really does have a compassionate side to her.

Since this was my first visit to this doctor, I cannot say whether I would recommend her or keep with her.

Dr. Shakeri is an outstanding physician! When I do have to wait a few minutes to see her, it is O.K. because she will spend whatever time is necessary with me just like she did with her patient before me. She is extremely detailed and a very good listener. Because of her caring and highly professional manner, both my wife and I have chosen her as our primary care physician.

We love our provider. However, we think she is too busy, too many patients to see and from our observations, she needs to run all the times (run from one exam room to another exam room). We do like to stress out that our provider is very good and we love her to death. No hard feelings at all.

this dr lacks basic knowledge and has no people skills what so ever. She is a terrible physician and was more stuck on selling future visits to herself for no apparent reason.

I had lab work done only and they failed to inform me how I would have access to my lab results. It has been several weeks and I have not seen them.
