Jessica Nelson began her midwifery career as a direct-entry midwife in Salt Lake City, UT. She returned to school to become a certified nurse-midwife and practiced for 3 years at an Indian Health Service Hospital in Chinle, AZ and then in a private practice in Bend, OR. She is a clinical faculty member of the graduate Midwifery Program at the University of Utah College of Nursing. She is a member of the BirthCare HealthCare Team and provides care during labor and birth at the University of Utah Clinic 4 and South Main Teen Mom clinic.
