UofU Patient March 18, 2013
I am very pleased with our experience with Dr. Draper. He went out of his way to help us feel comfortable in every particular. He talked with us without being rushed, respected my wishes, and gave wonderful explanations. Our visit with him was a wonderful experience! The only minute area in which he might improve would be this: I wish he would be more supportive towards hypnobirthing/hypnobabies methods, as they provided a virtually completely pain-free labor for my first pregnancy. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life, one that really works! I got the impression that he didn't have as much faith in those methods. But of course I could have read and judged his repsonse inaccurately. And that's really a minor concern. I would recommend his care to anyone I met!! His ability to connect with patients, work with them, his decision-making and passion in his profession, and attention to detail are fabulous, and are simply off-the-charts great!
UofU Patient March 18, 2013Dr. Draper always takes time with me to explain any concerns or upcoming needs for me to watch for with my pregnancy. He expressed genuine concern and promised to follow up by emailing some great resources to me to help me get better control over my diet plan and to help stabilize my bg levels. He goes above and beyond my expectations and I walk away knowing that he truly cares about the health of my baby and me. I have had some great doctors in the past, but have never had a doctor that takes time out of his regular hours to ensure that I have the proper resources and understanding to better my health and provide the best opportunity for my unborn baby!
UofU Patient February 11, 2013Dr. Draper went above and beyond! He thoroughly answered every question I had in detail (and I had a lot). He never once tried to rush me even though I have a feeling I was putting the schedule behind. I appreciate the followup call a few days later. I feel like Dr. Draper really truly cares about his patients! Thank you!
UofU Patient February 04, 2013Dr. Draper was very kind, and excellent in helping to allay my worries. He was very knowledgeable and thorough.
UofU Patient February 04, 2013Although this is the worst possible situation I have ever been in, Dr. Draper and all of the staff at the University Hospital made this situation more bearable. As I said before, I have never felt so cared for by doctors and nurses. I know that we are in the best hands possible. After seeing Dr. Draper I don't know how I will possibly ever be satisfied with another doctor. You just don't find this kind of care anywhere else.
UofU Patient January 07, 2013Dr. Draper spent time with us to talk about my pregnancy and his concern with keeping my blood sugars in check and reducing the amount of insulin I would need to take. He explained to me that not only does high blood glucose increase the risk and growth of baby, but that higher doses of insulin can do that as well. My endocrinologist hasn't even taken time to explain that to me! I am very impressed with how involved Dr. Draper is with us and that he takes time to make sure we are not only getting the care we need, but that we are doing the best we can to ensure our baby's health and well-being. He is the best!! When he realizes that we really understand and care about what he is telling us, he takes our understanding to an even deeper level so that we are learning more about how to better care for our growing baby.
UofU Patient December 26, 2012She should know i have high blood pressure i asked if it was safe to take fenugreek she said yes my blood pressure went crazy with meds that control it
UofU Patient December 03, 2012Dr Draper took the time to explain things to us and show us around.
UofU Patient October 12, 2012Dr. Draper is wonderful. He really listens to his patients, addresses their concerns, and when appropriate, makes referrals to other medical providers. He is very available. He takes ownership- when a conflict came up with my scheduled appointment time, he called me himself and let me know other options for both my ultrasound and my appointment time with him, and then gave me a direct phone number to reach him to reschedule. He is highest on my list of great providers.
UofU Patient October 02, 2012Dr. Draper is top notch! I feel very comfortable discussing my concerns and worries with him and he takes the time to make sure that I understand what can happen and how we can overcome the problem should it arise. He is genuine and cares that my husband and I are comfortable with the care of our baby. I am confident that if a problem should arise, he will help us work through it.
UofU Patient September 10, 2012I was extremely impressed with Dr. Draper. He was genuine in his concern and took time to talk to my husband and I, to get to know us and to begin to build a doctor/patient relationship. We are confident that he is just the doctor we need to help us through our pregnancy and do anything he can to ensure us that our baby will have the best care possible. I was uneasy when I made the appointment but he put me at ease with my decision and I left knowing that it was the right decision!
