Bio

Dr. Bennett received her medical degree from the Northwestern University School of Medicine, completed her Pediatric residency at the Texas Children's Hospital at the Baylor College of Medicine, and completed her Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Bennett completed a NRSA fellowship in Pediatric Neurointensive care and served on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh for a year before moving to Utah. Dr. Bennett is board certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Bennett is currently Associate Professor of Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Utah and serves as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Primary Children's Medical Center. She cares for children with critical illnesses and has special interest in traumatic injuries and neurointensive care. She is actively involved in clinical investigations to better understand treatment for traumatic brain injury and cardiac arrest in children.
