Dr. Hatton has been my pulmonologist for several years, and has guided me through the disease process with great compassion. he is direct, kind, and blessedly humorous. My illness has been somewhat intractable, but he has helped me make the best of it. I appreciate his honesty, and he never over-reaches-- he is a realist without being a bummer.UofU Patient April 13, 2015

He is always informative and answers all our questions!UofU Patient March 28, 2015
Dr. Hatton listens with intense attention. I feel I could tell him anything, ask him anything about my condition, and he would answer completely and sensitively. He truly gives care. When I leave the office, I feel so much better, although my condition is chronic and complicated. I feel that he treats me as a whole person, not just a damaged respiratory system.UofU Patient March 28, 2015

I trust not only Dr. Hatton, but also my entire team of doctors at the U of U Dr. Kevin Whitehead my cardiologist for many many years, Dr. Green and their teams and radiology teams that conduct tests and even my neurosurgeon Dr. Hood and my doctor that gave me the injection in my back Dr. Goldstein. are all very concerned about my health conditions and do what they can to ease a body that thinks it is 90 and aches and hurts every days no matter what I do.UofU Patient May 22, 2014

My Dr., Dr. Hatton is awsomeUofU Patient June 25, 2012
I am more than impressed with Dr. Hatton, He is the third Doctor I have discussed this specific issue with and he is the first one to actually diagnos my issue in a way I am pleased with that makes sense. Dr. Hatton resolved to not give me one of the medications he wanted to due to my request at not wanting to have multiple medications that I have to take. I have already recommended him and will continue to do so. :)UofU Patient April 20, 2012
I was overwhelmed with the amount of care for my health. Made me feel really good.UofU Patient March 30, 2012
Dr. Hatton made my various lung conditions clear to me and to my husband for the first time, although I've had breathing difficulty for decades. We are so grateful for the time Dr. Hatton took to explain what's going on, his examples and illustrations, his obvious interest and skill. And we both appreciated his humor.
