Cynthia Newby is a nurse practitioner who assists medical directors in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic. She sees patients with strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. She sees many patients with spasticity and manages their intrathecal baclofen pumps. She recently has had the pleasure of assisting the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation attending and residents who consult in the hospital setting. She also has the pleasure of continuing to see some patients that have discharged from the hospital and are currently receiving rehabilitation services at a local skilled nursing facility.
