  • Kathryn E. Gibson, M.D., FAAFP is a board-certified family medicine physician and a fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Gibson earned a masters of exercise physiology degree from the University of Texas, obtained her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, and was chief resident of the University of Utah Family and Preventive Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Gibson has been with the University of Utah since 2003, and became the Medical Director of the ARUP Laboratories Health Clinic in 2016. Dr. Gibson’s professional interests include workplace and primary healthcare delivery models, preventive care, and mental health. In her free time, Dr. Gibson enjoys participating in endurance sports and traveling with her husband. She speaks Norwegian, Spanish, and is only able to provide care for ARUP employees and their spouses/dependents.
