Bio

Dr. Rindflesh has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders and has had a particular interest in working with parents in both individual and group settings to assist them in dealing with children and adolescents being treated for psychiatric problems. He has also worked in a rural setting, Sweetwater County, Wyoming, providing assessment and treatment for 20 years. The last two years have been done exclusively by telepsychiatry.

Academic Bio

Mark Rindflesh graduated from Carleton College, in Northfield, Minnesota in 1968 and came to the University of Utah School of Medicine where he complete his training in 1973. He then completed an adult and child and adolescent psychiatry residency in 1977. During that time, he was chief resident on two separate occasions.

Since that time, Dr. Rindflesh has practiced at Valley Mental Health, University of Utah Medical Center, LDS Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital and Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He’s been at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute since Oct. 1987
