Bio

Dr. Morita received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and completed Pediatric Neurology residency at the University of Utah. She has been on the Pediatric Neurology faculty here since 2008.

She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology, and has adjunct appointments in Child Psychiatry and Neurology. She sees outpatients at Primary Children’s Medical Center (PCMC), the Riverton Hospital PCMC Outpatient Services clinic and in outreach clinics through the Children with Special Health Care Needs. She also works regularly on the hospital pediatric neurology service at PCMC.

Her academic interests include pediatric neurocritical care and medical education. She is developing a web-based pediatric neurology curriculum for medical students and residents, and she collaborates with colleagues in on-going studies of pediatric traumatic brain injury and stroke.
