Bio

Victoria Wilkins MD, MPH completed her BS and her medical degree at University of California, Davis. She received a Master in Public Health degree at University of California, Berkeley. She is board certified in pediatrics and completed a fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics at the University of Washington.

She joined the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Utah in 2010.

Dr. Wilkins’ research interests are currently focused on provider-parent communication, especially in cross-cultural settings.

Academic Bio

Victoria Wilkins M.D., M.P.H. is a hospitalist in the Division of Pediatric Inpatient Medicine. Dr. Wilkins’ current scholarly interests are in the area of provider, parent and child communication and health disparities.

Dr. Wilkins received her undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, a Master of Public Health degree in Infectious Disease at University of California, Berkeley, and M.D. from University of California, Davis Medical School. After completing postgraduate training in Pediatrics, she did a fellowship and post-doctoral year in General Academic Pediatrics at University of Washington.

She and her family moved to Salt Lake City in 2010 to join the Division. She enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities.
