Marion McMichael was born in London, England, attended Notley Hospital School of Nursing in Essex, England, completing her nursing degree in 1965. Upon moving to the States, she continued her nursing training at Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1971. She is a Registered RN in the State of Utah.
Marion worked for many years as an operating nurse at Holy Cross Hospital before joining Dr. Hood in 1984. Since 1984 Marion has worked exclusively in neurosurgical operative procedures and as Dr. Hood’s office nurse. She became a certified registered first assist in 1988 and has worked in that capacity for Dr. Hood in the Neurosurgical Clinic of Utah and moved with Dr. Hood to the University of Utah, Department of Neurosurgery in 2010.
