Bio

Nikki Bernhard, OTR/L graduated from Purdue University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Movement and Sport Science. She received her Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in 1996. Her 20 years of clinical experience have been in both inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation. She currently specializes in the treatment of clients with spinal cord injury at the University of Utah Sugar House Rehabilitation Center. Nikki has additional training in neurodevelopmental treatment, FES cycling, InMotion robotics, adapted driving and has attended courses for the treatment of clients with spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury and Parkinson's Disease. She is an Adjunt Faculty Member at University of Utah School of Occupational Therapy, is a clinical instructor and collaborates with faculty and students at the University to implement clinical research.
