Bio

Rebecca Kohler, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant and works in Bariatric and General Surgery at the University Hospital. She holds a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Utah and completed her undergraduate degree at Alma College in Michigan. As a part of her undergraduate education, she studied abroad in both Mexico and Spain and speaks fluent Spanish. She has worked for the University of Utah Hospital since 2007. In her current role in the General Surgery department, she is involved the care of bariatric and general surgery patients. Her involvement includes pre-surgical evaluation and education, nutrient deficiency monitoring, pre and post-operative care, and post-surgical follow-up. She is also a member of the surgical team and assists in the operating room.
