UofU Patient January 18, 2013Dr. Leslie Cooper is my favorite doctor ever! She excells at all of the above. On this particular visit, I had numerous questions and she very patiently and clearly addressed each of them, never making me feel rushed. I typically try not to take excess appointment time because I know there are others scheduled after me, but this visit it couldn't be helped, and with Dr. Cooper's carefull attention, I left feeling well informed and clear about how we are proceeding.

UofU Patient November 24, 2012Dr. Cooper enter the room and stated she had been reviewing my records. That gave me confidence that I had her undivided attention. She provided me a wonderful hand out that explained my condition and exercises I should do to improve it.
UofU Patient November 23, 2012This was both a "new patient" appointment and a physical. I was surprised that there was very little time allotted to the appointment, in fact I had to point out the fact that perhaps they should ask me questions re: my medical history. We were able to focus on a particular issue in depth, and I felt well cared for in that respect. But for a first mtg. felt rushed, that the doctor was scheduled more tightly than she would have preferred, and therefore I didn't have enough time to get to know the doctor, and she had no time to get a broader more wholistic picture of me as a new patient. I even had to come back after leaving the building once I realized we had not booked my requested follow-up appointment. Somehow that got lost in the shuffle.

The muscle relaxers did nothing, the steroids did nothing, and the only thing I really needed at this point was pain relief, but she didn't prescribe anything like that, however, in fairness, I was concerned about medication, as I don't like taking it, but steroids and muscle relaxers did zero!

UofU Patient June 18, 2012Dr Cooper is as good as it gets she understands my concerns and keeps me on feet she knows i am raising grand kids and don't have the time for knee replacement i am the only driver in my house my wife is not well and i have to stay standing and Dr Cooper keeps me upright and mobile.
UofU Patient April 10, 2012She reviewed my chart carefully, turns out we're both breast cancer survivors and she took extra care and interest and that influenced in a good way how she addressed my concerns with the terrible cold I was experiencing. I felt well cared for and attended to.

I believe the MA provided a different test request to U of U cardiology clinic than what Dr. Cooper had told me. This resulted in delays and necessity for Cardiology to contact Dr. Cooper for clarification.
