Bio

Dr. Kreitschitz treats adults at the University of Utah's Neuropsychiatric Institute and Behavioral Health Clinic. Previously, he worked as co-chief resident at the University of Utah's Adult Psychiatry residency program. In the processes of treating depression, anxiety, mania, psychosis, and substance dependence, clinically he holds an interest in empowering patients to gain control over one's life, in both the hospital and outpatient clinical setting. With this, Dr. Kreitschitz is committed to finding innovative ways to optimize mental health treatment.

Academic Bio

Dr. Kreitschitz current academic activities including teaching third and fourth year medical student on their inpatient psychiatry rotations, in addition to supervising senior psychiatry residents in their outpatient clinical rotation. Dr. Kreitschitz, in addition, teaches within the psychopharmacology lecture series for beginning psychiatry residents, as well as lecturing on the proper documenation for psychiatric clinical work. Dr. Kreitschitz also has continued to work with first year medical students in Bioethics, while remaining active with administrative duties within the medical records committee, and as chief associate at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Insitute.
