Dr.Speakman is an amazing doctor. He took the time to understand what it was that was going on and treated me with respect. I would highly recomend anyone to see him as a patient. He is fantastic. What more can I say.

June 05, 2014

I have seen Speakman off & on for a few years. My annual physical last month took less than 10 minutes. He doesn't seem to be as thorough as he should be for a complete physical. After getting labs back he does do a good job or reviewing these results. (Seems to like doing that!) The rest is too mechanical. Perhaps during his medical background in the military he became a check-the-box doctor.

Excellent

April 18, 2014

Dr. Speakman was extremely professional, caring and thorough.

April 04, 2014

Dr. Speakman is excellent. His bedside manner if comforting, his knowledge is outstanding and the course of treatment today, as in the past, was spot on. He takes the time to get a good patient history, performs the appropriate patient exam and works with you to ensure you understand what is happening and how best to treat the issue at hand. He also knows when to refer you to a specialist and when not too, which my pocketbook (and insurance provider) appreciate.

March 18, 2014

Excellent...so good I am not concerned about any future conditions which may demand I visit again/

March 18, 2014

Dr. Speakman was very professional and was so concerned about my condition and my safety.

February 04, 2014

it seemed like the doctor rushed through my appointment, I had a very bad sore throat for over a week and I know typically its just viral and nothing can be done but I would have expected a bit more interest, he suggested eating popsicles. I could have figured that out at home and saved 20 bucks for my copay.

December 20, 2013

I didnt feel i was being listened to very well. I left with no thought or action to trying to get to the bottom of why i felt so poorly, other than ordering lab work.

December 08, 2013

I was very pleased with Dr. Speakman. I never felt like he was rushing through my appointment to get to the next one.

November 15, 2013

I asked a lot of questions and the Dr was good about answering them and giving me background about this issue. More info the better.

November 12, 2013

The Dr came in to the exam room, didn't ask me any questions, and proceeded with the exam. Less than a minute later, he was entering a prescription on the computer and informing me of how to take the medication. I was never asked what symptoms I had, what treatments I had tried, nor what the diagnosis even was. He did not introduce himself nor did he ask my name. Also, in the end, he sent the electronic prescription to Redwood rather than Redstone ... so filling the prescription was delayed. Perhaps this was just a routine case of the flu or the common cold, a case this Dr will see hundreds of times through the season, but if I receive this kind of care for a minor health concern, I certainly don't feel inclined to entrust him with caring for me for more serious health issues.

November 04, 2013

I was referred to a surgeon at Park City Hospital. U of U made the appointment for me there.

October 23, 2013

My experience with the doctor was very good. She was very kind, answered all of my questions, and I felt that she was concerned about why I was there.

October 07, 2013

good

September 28, 2013

very hurried

September 25, 2013

He told me to follow up with Dr. Parsons, but then said that she didn't have any appointments for a month! That seems ridiculous for me not to be able to see my primary care doctor for a month when I am having issues right then.

August 26, 2013

Specialist was now recommended

August 23, 2013

a specialist should have been recommended, an x-ray should have been done before a diagnosis, a sling would have been very helpful the first day

April 01, 2013

Friendly, caring, willing to spend time to make sure diagnosis is correct.

February 25, 2013

I don't think he spent 3 minutes with me. He knew he was running behind I'm sure, I have never seen this provider before (my MD was on vacation), he never introduced himself, walked in the room (after my 40 min. wait) and said "sit up here" pointing to the exam table. I felt like he could have saved lots of time and me lots of money if he would have just called in an RX as I knew I had a sinus infection.

December 10, 2012

All good.

November 26, 2012

fine

November 12, 2012

I liked dr. Speakman but he seemed alittle distracted and rushed.

August 16, 2012

I felt well taken care of. You could see the wheels turning when Dr. Speakman was trying to find a solution to treat my complex condition.

May 15, 2012

TERRIFIC!

March 22, 2012

The best doctor I have met in my 56 years of life!

February 28, 2012

Really liked the care provider

February 16, 2012

FANTASTIC

January 04, 2012

Dr. Speakman was wonderful. He seems to be a caring and competent doctor.
