Dr. Bledsoe is an Anesthesiologist at the University of Utah, specializing in perioperative echocardiography. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Echocardiography, both in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography and Adult Echocardiography. She has a particular interest in the anesthetic approach to gastric bypass surgery and currently serves as the Director of Anesthesia for Bariatric Surgery. She is also a member of the preoperative clinic team, whose mission is to optimize patients' clinical conditions prior to surgery to minimize potential adverse events surrounding surgery.
