UofU Patient August 24, 2012i believe the doctor is professional and seemed to be so. the problem is: he only literally spent 1 minute checking my eyes and then let another young doctor (I believe he is a sort of practicing doctor) to continue practicing. I don't mind have my eyes checked by the practicing doctor; however I still prefer to get a more thorough exam by the professional one first. In the end the main doctor explained my potential eye problem very briefly and prescribed some eyedrop. I feel they were in a sort of hurry and did not explain in detail. Or maybe it is the doctor's personality. Overall unsatisfactory service.

UofU Patient August 07, 2012Dr. Tobin seems to be a very good doctor but we probably spent 5 minutes maximum with him. He basically looked at my wires eyes and said "there's nothing I can do, you need to see a neuro opthamologist." I understand that maybe he felt like it was out of his area of expertise but I felt like the visit was kind of pointless and we drove an hour each way and then paid the 60$ copay for him to tell us that...not his fault, just frustrating.

He seemed very caring and because of his thoroughness he immediately referred me to Dr. Bernstein retinal specialist. Dr. Bernstein wasn't as friendly, but he seemed extremely confident with his diagnosis & what treatment I needed.

UofU Patient January 04, 2012I have had Dr. Tabin do two cornea transplants and both have been excellent. Last year Dr. Petty began working with Dr. Tabin and his care has also been very good. I could not imagine a better person to do the cornea transplants. He and Dr. Petty also helped me through a bad infection. Excellent care.
