Bio

Dr. Foster received her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine and fellowships in pediatric endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda and the University of Michigan. She was on the faculty of the University of Michigan for 20 years and relocated to Utah six years ago. She is currently a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Foster is board certified in Pediatrics and in the subspecialty of Pediatric Endocrinology. Her clinical interests are in growth and puberty in children. She is recognized as one of the Top Doctors in America.

She has had extensive grant support for studies of puberty and diabetes and conducts clinical trials in diabetes and growth disorders. She is an educator who teaches house staff, residents and medical students in pediatric medicine as well as providing continuing medical education lectures for pediatricians and family medicine providers.
