Dr. Morstein graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.S. in nursing and received her MS with an emphasis on child psychiatric nursing from the University Of Oklahoma School of Nursing and her PhD in nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University . Dr. Morstein currently works as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Primary Children’s Hospital Center for Counseling and in a collaborative practice at Holladay Pediatrics.

As a board certified Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, Dr. Morsteins ’s clinical interests include twice exceptional youth, autism spectrom, attention deficit, mood and anxiety disorders.

Academic Bio

Dr. Morstein graduated from Oral Roberts University with a BS in Nursing and later received her MS in Psychiatric Nursing from the University Of Oklahoma. She completed her PhD with a focus in Child Psychiatric Nursing from the University Of Oregon Health Sciences Center. She is board certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing.

Currently, Dr. Morstein teaches in the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program and sees out patients at Primary Childrens’ Center for Counseling. She also practices one day weekly with Mental Health Integration at Intermountains’ Holladay Pediatrics.

Dr. Morstein’s clinical interests include attention deficit disorder, twice exceptional children and adolescents (gifted youth with psychiatric comorbidities), mood disorders, and autism.

Dr. Morstein’s research interests include developing a technology based behavioral intervention for children with autism and ADHD.
