Dr. Lori Witter is an excellent physcian with great knowledge and compassion. She has served our family very well for about 7 years. It is very difficult to find such a good physician. We will greatly miss her when she moves. I hope the U of U clinics will be able to continue to attract physcians of her caliber.

I am so very sad that she is leaving as it has taken me a very long time to find a doctor that I trust and feel very comfortable with. I wish her well in her new adventures. She will be a success wherever she goes.

UofU Patient April 17, 2013Dr Witter kindly xrayed my leg when I went in, even though it wasn't the original problem I presented with. After that, the radiologist must have told her that the leg was fractured and they started arranging an appointment with Orthopedics for me even before they had a chance to reach me about the xray results. Top notch!

That's why I need everything written down. I may understand everything when I'm talking to her but forget later, or my daughter and I remember it differently.

UofU Patient March 16, 2012I felt as if the doctor was in a rush, and that I was burdening her by being there. I felt like I had to interrupt her just to tell her what I was feeling and why I was there. She barely spent any time physically examing my problem and basically told me, "I don't know, take meds, if that doesn't work, see someone else." Kind of disappointed as I have loved other physicians at this clinic.

And we developed a plan to handle any problems that may come up, in that area of my health care, we chose an alternative if a reoccurance of the condition needed follow up treatment.

She gives me the little extra care since I have a hearing disability and may take a little longer to understand what she may be saying.
