Dr Georges Desjardins MD FRCPC FASE is an anesthesiologist with specialized expertise in anesthesia for cardiac and lung surgery. He also has specialized expertise in perioperative cardiac imaging. He is board certified in anesthesiology and in perioperative echocardiography. His main clinical focus is the care of patients with heart and lung diseases requiring surgical procedures. He also specializes is the use of ultrasound to guide and assist surgical procedures on the heart and lungs. He is known nationally and has been invited to speak as an expert on these topics both nationally and internationally.
